I (29F) broke up with boyfriend (28m) and he won't stop texting me

Let's call him Jim.

We started dating September 2016. Jim was a very nice guy and always treated me well. Problem was, was that he was very selfish. Jim lost his license at 24 due to a dui and the passenger died and has in dealing with the courts since then. He put his whole life on hold after that. Never worked through the traumatic event etc... I was his security blanket.

Fast forward to late dec/early January. Jim and I always had out fair share of problems like any normal couple. But when he was sentenced to 45 days everything came to a head. He started being even more clingy than usual, expecting me to answer whenever he called (we had a ldr after September of '19). Also pressured me to have sex with him even though I wasn't in the mood.

Which brings me to my current problem...

After Jim got out of jail I went up there to visit him. I was constantly was expected to give him rides, parents didn't even show up to jail to pick him up with me even though they said they would go. I flew out to see him and he couldn't even get a ride over to where I was staying on the last night because he didn't want to.

We broke up after I got back home 2 months ago. Since then he has been begging me for another chance, saying he's gonna change, same old bullshit. He said he was going to be less clingy and respect that I have a life outside of him. I gave him 2 more chances and nothing actually changed (gee who knew /s). Now he won't stop ltexting me, emailing me, and sending snap chat videos begging for me back. I've been trying to handle this like an adult and be civil since I usually just ghost people after we break up. Is it time to just ghost him? Do I need to be somewhat mean about it? I have no idea what to do. I still care for him but DO NOT want to be with him.
