My (33F) boyfriend (34M) doesn't want to try insemination to conceive a child, even if we have difficulties with the natural method.

Me (33F) and my boyfriend (34M) want to have a family and we're trying to conceive since 1.5 year without success. I'm getting close to 34 yrs old and I'm a little stressed about it. So I did some research and I want to try artificial insemination. I think it's really a wonderful option! Having 2 methods instead of 1, I see that as an opportunity and having more chances to conceive.

But when I suggested that to my boyfriend, he was shocked and really angry. He doesn't want to use insemination and was repeating that we should first try naturally.. But we're trying since 1.5 year, and it doesn't work super well because he has some physical difficulties. It's been a few years since he has these issues and when I'm trying to talk to him about it, he reacted intensely with anger and doesn't want to talk about it.

I don't know what to do and to think. I'm just crying right now because I feel really alone in this. I don't see any problem with insemination, I think it's wonderful and we should try. I don't understand why he's so angry about it. It's just giving us more chances to have a child.
