I (43 f) have been dating my (45 m) boyfriend for quite awhile now. We've had some problems with me being jealous of his very close relationship with his recent ex. Which he has let toned down to a point I'm comfortable with. Now ...I'm feeling it again.
He's recently told me he has slept with probably close to 200 women. He claims I'm the best and is already talking about marriage ...which he said he's never thought about before. We have a wonderful relationship. So compatible in every way. I'm the second woman he's brought home to the family ever. Our sex life is great. Since he told me though, I feel nauseous and extremely self conscious. I have seen his exes and they are all gorgeous. I haven't been able to talk to him since he told me three days ago. I don't like communicating when I feel so charged up because I don't want to say something awful. I don't want to shame him. I just feel sick even thinking about being intimate with him again. Which is so sad.
He claims that it was all just out of trying to find a connection like what we had. That he wasn't an actual womanizer. He's a sweet guy, so sincere, and handsome. I can see how he could easily attract women. I just feel like throwing up.
Is this a big number? I thought I had a lot with being somewhere in the 30's.
TLDR: Is 200 sexual partners a dealbreaker for most? How do I get past this?
