I'm currently in school and I've been in class with a guy (we will call him John) who was at first very nice to me. He would always offer to do things for me like carry my books, give me his notes, and little things here and there. I would usually turn him down since I was engaged at the time (plus he isn't my type anyway) and I didn't want to give him any ideas, but I remained nice to him. We've remained friends since then. A very good female friend of mine revealed to me that John told her that he has a huge crush on me and he doesn't care that I'm engaged, if he had the chance to sleep with me he'd take it. I told my fiancé and he said "Well I'm not surprised. You're attractive and a ring won't stop some guys. Keep your distance and tell me if he makes you uncomfortable." A few months later John sent me a nude photo of himself and I simply did not reply to him. In fact, I blocked his phone number.
Since then I have been trying to lose some weight. I successfully lost 15 pounds and I'm almost at my goal of 120 pounds. I also got married.
One day I arrived to school at 5:30am and I got stuck outside in the freezing cold trying to open up the door, but my badge was not scanning properly so it didn't open. I scan it about 8 more times. I see someone walking towards me in the distance, but all I see is a silhouette. They say to me "Can't get in?" and as they get closer I realize it's John. He scans his badge and the doors finally open. All I could say was "Thanks! It wasn't scanning for some reason" and I walked away as quickly as I could in order to get away from him since there was no one else in sight. I was terrified at that moment.
A few months later my friends and I gathered together outside of class and John just happened to be there since we have mutuals. John asks me how I'm doing and I replied with "Good. How are you?" and he says "I'm alright. Heard you got married. Looks like you're getting bigger too. Don't let go of yourself just because you got married. Hahaha." Since I'm an eye for an eye type of individual, I quickly told him "Haha well it's a good thing I don't care for your opinion. Also, after you sent me that photo I can tell you that my husband is packing way more than you, but I don't go around saying it." and I could tell he was pissed off about it. Last thing he says is "Okay big girl". Now he refers to me as "big girl" to everyone we know.
It's irritating because I felt really great about my weight progress and now this guy is making me feel terrible and insecure. I don't know why, because he's really nobody in my life, but I seriously wonder if everyone perceives me the way he does - A fat girl. My weight is my biggest insecurity. I guess my question is - What the hell is this guy on about? And how do I shut him up? It's not serious enough to go to the school about.
TLDR; Classmate went from being super nice to being a dick after I've dodged his advances. How do I deal with his dick behavior professionally?
