My (20M) Girlfriend (20F) says she feels more platonically for me than romantically and it’s confusing me.

Hi So I have been in a relationship with this girl for 2 months and we have been dating each other for 5 months in total. We have known each other for four years but rarely kept in touch before we started dating. Everything is great. We have solid communication, we have great physical chemistry, we have the same interests and we are greatly compatible, that's what both of us believe. We haven't had sex but we've been to third base.

So today, she told me that she doesn't 'love' me. Like it's like 70% platonic and 30% romantic.And now it's all up to me whether I could keep up with this and risk this as she doesn't know if she will develop more romantic feelings over time. She does enjoy my company and feel safe with me but the 'head over heels' factor is missing for her. She does say that it's by far the healthiest relationship she has ever been into.

As for me I feel strongly for her. I do love her, in a fully romantic way and could see a future with her. I really don't want either of us to compromise here but I am really confused, as I never anticipated this.

I have dated 3 girls before her who never 'loved' me and that's what is making difficult for me to make a decision as I feel I would be landing in a similar situation once again. Obviously I can never convince her but now it's totally up to me to make a decision here. What if she never feels for me, then this would turn out to be a major problem in the future.

TL;DR Girlfriend says she feels more platonic than romantic in the relationship but is willing to give it a shot and is asking me if I can give it a shot as well.
