My BF (30M) invited me (23F) join his fam's summer vacation. But I should pay for myself, is that a culture here?
TL;DR ! Need advice! I'm currently student and we just started dating for few months. Had different background, as Asian girl in my past relationship my ex paid mostly for our trip bills, but I'm new to this relationship with different background, which my bf now is white guy, so when I pay for myself it is a new thing for me. And when he asked me to join his family trip, indirectly he said I should pay for my own flights, visa, medical test etc except accommodation that his fam already booked. Is that a culture here that girl should pay for herself despite he's the one who invited me?
