I'm too tired to do anything on evenings due to long work hours and feel my BF is getting fed up of it m/f both 30.
I work long hours, I'm up at 6 and don't get home until 7ish. Am on my feet all day working with people with disabilities, and it's a long (over an hour) commute. My job is busy and challenging, but I love it and it's really rewarding.
My BF is up at 8, works 10 mins from our flat, and is home just after 5. He works as a mechanic so his job is also very physical.
After work I'm so tired I just want to zonk out, maybe play on my switch a bit if my eyes are awake enough, and go to bed. My feet are always aching and usually throbbing.
We take it in turns to cook food and do housework on evenings.
My BF always wants to do stuff after work which is nice. But I'm SO exhausted and what he usually wants is for him to go fishing as soon as I'm home, and me come for 'the walk' which is about 20+ mins to and from his fishing spot (muddy small walkway through a woods and across a large field) and hang around for 2+ hours while he fishes. Getting back about half hour before I go to bed.
Now I love the sun and nature, but I don't have the energy after my long shift on my feet. When I get home I just want to SIT and have a coffee and turn off. Not sit down for a couple mins and have to get straight back up and force my aching feet to walk even more.
I feel bad because he asks every day and every day I say I'm too tired but I'll go with him on Sunday if he wants to go then. We spend every Fri/sat night and Sunday together and do plenty of other stuff. We go away for weekends, play video games, watch movies, go on day trips etc.
I feel bad for being so boring on work nights but I can't handle it, Im just so tired. I've explained loads but he keeps asking me to do stuff. I feel he's getting fed up of me never having energy in evenings.
TL:Dr: I feel bad never wanting to go for walks with my BF on evenings, but I work long hours and am too exhausted.
